Atendo is an innovative residential facility for assisted accommodation that has launched in Galicia the re-evolution of new modalities of accommodation for seniors that are arising in the sector in Spain. A facility with all the necessary professional assistance, where the residents are in complete control, despite their possible limitations.
Atendo offers a significant change in the assistance provided to senior persons, so that they can remain at their homes for as long as possible, providing specialised care and respecting their personal autonomy. It is a fact that day care and residential centres are currently necessary for those persons who desire assistance beyond home care. For this reason, Atendo has implemented Person-Centred Care (PCC – ACP in Spanish/Galician) with teams trained to provide the best assistance to those persons who live with us.
The PCC model is transversal. For all those working with Atendo, PCC is a commitment to the constant search for improvement in the care of senior persons. By means of this methodology we provide close, personal assistance.
This commitment has brought about the creation of the Atendo Model. This model is a declaration of intent to place the centre of attention on the users, particularly those in a state of dependence, in order to always respect their interests.
