AFAGA Alzheimer

AFAGA Alzheimer is a non-profit organisation that carries out different activities aimed at improving the quality of life of those suffering Alzheimer’s and other dementias and of their relatives, as well as providing information, advice and guidance to all those who may request it. Its aims also include divulging the reality of this disease to public and private bodies in order to achieve an extensive, effective response to the requirements of this target group, and taking part in and promoting the research performed regarding this disease.

AFAGA Alzheimer’s goal is to carry out a series of activities aimed at improving the quality of life of persons suffering Alzheimer’s or other dementias and their families, as well as providing information, advice and guidance to all those who may request it. It also takes part in research and training projects that contribute to a better understanding of the disease.

  • Care for persons with Alzheimer’s and other dementias: stimulation workshops, new technologies workshops, stimulation at home, physiotherapy at home.
  • Assistance to relatives and carers: welcome programme, social assistance programme, assistance at home, psychological assistance, legal advice, advice on technical aids.
